Your guide to finding and ordering 'The One' online — from taking your measurements to the moment you slip it on. Follow these steps for the smoothest journey to your perfect dress.

Find Your Fit

Take your measurements and match them to our size guide. You'll need three measurements:

  • Bust — around the fullest part of your bust
  • Waist — around the narrowest part of your waist
  • Low Hip — around the fullest part of your hips, approximately 20cm below your waist
Tip: measure snugly but not tight, and keep the tape parallel to the floor. Have someone help you for the most accurate result.

Refine Your Selection

Every Studio Minc style fits a little differently depending on the silhouette, fabric, and construction. Use the fit details on each product page to refine your size choice — a fitted bodice means your waist measurement matters most, while a fitted silhouette through the hips means your low hip measurement takes priority.

Prepare For Your Delivery

Before you order, check our shipping page for delivery timeframes to your location. If you're ordering a pre-order style, the estimated arrival date is shown on the product page — allow additional time for processing and delivery on top of this date.

Can I Return It?

Review our return policy before purchasing so you know exactly where you stand. Full-priced online purchases are eligible for return within 7 days of delivery, with options for a refund or store credit. Sale items and some other purchases have different conditions — always check before you buy.

Found 'The One'? Order as early as possible before your event. Ordering early gives you a comfortable buffer for delivery, any size exchange if needed, and alterations — so there's no stress as your big day approaches.

It's On Its Way

Once your order is dispatched, you'll receive a tracking notification by email. Keep an eye on your tracking, and let everyone in your household know a special delivery is coming — you don't want it sitting on the doorstep or being signed for by someone who forgets to tell you!

It's Here!

The exciting part. Before you open your parcel, wash your hands and clear a clean space — a bed or a clean table is perfect. This keeps your dress pristine from the very first moment.

Try It On

Set yourself up for the perfect first try-on:

  • Shower first — clean, dry skin with no makeup, fake tan, lotions, or perfumes
  • Unzip the dress fully and loosen any corset lacing right off before stepping in
  • Have someone help you with zips and lacing
  • Never force a zip — if it resists, loosen the corset further and try again slowly

Steam Me

Your dress has travelled to reach you, so light creasing from transit is completely normal. A hand steamer will have it looking flawless in minutes. Always steam gently, keep the steamer moving, and avoid direct contact with delicate fabrics and embellishments.
